Today is the launch date of my poetry chapbook, Singing in the Dark ! Singing in the Dark  is my fourth poetry chapbook and it merges the personal and political, featuring confessional poetry along with narratives inspired by socio-political concerns.  The cover is a photo of an abstract acrylic painting I did a while back, newly titled, "Resurrection." My fourth poetry chapbook, Singing in the Dark , is due to launch Oct. 18, 2022 through Alien Buddha Press.  This is the cover, a photo of an abstract acrylic painting I did a while back that hung as part of a show at the Hoyt Museum in New Castle, Pennsylvania, and which I have newly titled it, "Resurrection."  Singing in the Dark merges the personal and political, featuring confessional poetry along with narratives inspired by socio-political concerns, and there is a kind of progression to the text. Along with poems about family, there are poems about the struggles young men face growing up in America and about the ongoing oppression of nations like Tibet and Palestine.
